Kimberly Ann Stroh 61, Tappen, ND passed away at her home on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Kimberly Ann Syverson was born on December 18, 1963, at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead, MN to Arvin and DiAnne Syverson. Kim was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. She grew up in Ulen, MN, where she attended elementary school. DiAnne and her four girls moved to Moorhead, MN where Kim continued school there. Kim continued her high school education in Jamestown, ND after her mom married Robert Bridgewater of Windsor, ND. There Kim laid the foundation for a life filled with love, laughter, and service to others.

In April 1984, she married Randy Grabinger and together they made their home in Cleveland ND, raising three children Tonya, Chris, and Brandon.

In August of 1993 Kim married Errol Schmidt and they lived at their rural Medina farm. Kim loved animals and farm life. Kim also became a business owner when she bought and operated the Dawson Cafe. Kim later began working at the Anne Carlson Center and other nursing homes in the Jamestown area. Kim dedicated herself to her family and gravitated towards careers that served others. This allowed her to touch the lives of others.

In February 2009 Kim married Mark Stroh and they built a life together at their rural Tappen Farm. Kim gained three step-children in the marriage Jesse, Shawn, and Damon. Kim began working at the Golden Manor in Steele, ND and continued her life's passion of helping others. Mark and Kim also enjoyed their hobby business running the US Extreme Firework stand in Tappen, ND. Kim enjoyed life on the farm and loved having animals again. Kim had several "pet" horses, 4 Great Danes, and several parrots.

Kim was known for her compassionate spirit, whether it was caring for others, her beloved animals, or her family. This was especially true with her three children and grandchildren. Kim had a passion for gardening, fishing, cooking, and cherished being with her family. Kim was known for her mischievous sense of humor and enjoyed a good prank or joke for laughs.

Kim's legacy is one of compassion, hard work, service to others, laughter, and love of family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched.

Kim is survived by her children Tonya (Jesse) Jahner Fargo, ND, Chris Grabinger Kansas, Brandon (Amanda) Grabinger Woodworth, ND; step-children, Jesse Schatz, Bismarck, ND, Shawn (Kristen) Stroh Tappen, ND; Damon (Jessie) Stroh, Steele, ND; her sisters Tammy (Chris) Erickson Ulen, MN; Sherrie Dunn Jamestown, ND; Pamela Syverson Jamestown, ND; and 15 grandchildren, Morgan Grabinger, Gage Grabinger, Grant Grabinger, Estella Grabinger, Avianna Grabinger, Stetson Grabinger, Cadence Grabinger, Shiloh Grabinger and Trygg Grabinger, Devin Stroh, Jordan (Brandon) Markson, Drew Stroh, Dane Stroh, Eden Stroh, Eve Stroh.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; DiAnne Bridgewater, Robert Bridgewater, Arvin (Sonny) Syverson, her stepbrother Sonny Lee Syverson; her beloved husband, Mark Stroh; and nephew, Gunnar Syverson.

Memorial Service- 1:30 PM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Prayer Service- 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home with a visitation beginning at 5:00.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue, PO Box 21485, Eagen, MN 55121.
