Kimberly Diane Vaughn, age 56, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. She leaves behind two children, Jack Keener, Jessie Boone, both of London, KY; her fiancé, Phillip Hurley; five siblings, Gilbert Vaughn & wife Angela of London, KY, Marty Vaughn & wife Ashley of Corbin, KY, Sharon Harville & husband Kenny of London, KY, Erik Farmer & wife Sasha of Corbin, KY, Gwen Godwin of Godley, IL; six grandchildren, Mason Keener, Jaxson Keener, Serenity Burkhart, Zechariah Burkhart, Brantley Burkhart, Emma Burkhart; plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Linda Bowles Vaughn; and by her sister, Carla Hart. Kimberly worked as a host for Cracker Barrel, where she greeted countless guests with her warm smile and kind spirit. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and especially cherished her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved making memories with them. In her free time, Kimberly enjoyed simple pleasures like trips to the water park and attending church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She will be remembered for her love of family, her caring nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. A funeral service honoring Kimberly Diane Vaughn will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Mike Hoskins officiating. Interment will follow at the Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Aaron Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, Joshua Vaughn, Seth Harville, Austyn Griffitts and Jack Keener. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
