Kimiko "Kim" Max (1933 – 2025)
Kimiko "Kim" Max, a longtime resident of Willingboro, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born in Fukuoka Ken, Japan, Kim was the daughter of Reita Maeda and Wasa Vehara. She met her husband, Joseph Max, while he was serving in the military in Japan. They were married at the American Embassy, beginning a lifelong journey together.
Kim dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home. A talented homemaker, she found joy in sewing and took pride in caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and her brother, Sumio Maeda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 12, at Corpus Christi Church in Willingboro. Following the service, Kim will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at New Jersey Veteran's Cemetery.
