Kindall Lamar Scott was born on October 3, 1972, to Toni M. Scott and William Lindsey at Keesler Air Force Base in
Biloxi, Mississippi. On March 2, 2026, Kindall was called home to be with the Lord and was reunited in heaven with his beloved mother.
As a baby, Kindall was lovingly adopted and raised by his devoted grandparents, Reverend James J. Scott and Frances B. Scott, who nurtured him with love, faith, and strong family values.
At an early age, Kindall accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, where his spiritual journey began. His passion for serving God and uplifting others grew throughout the years. In 2015, Kindall answered the call to ministry and received his minister's license. He faithfully served as the Youth Pastor of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church, where he dedicated his time to guiding, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation.
Kindall received his early education in the Gulfport School District and proudly graduated from Gulfport High School in 1991. He believed strongly in continuing his education and personal growth. In 2018, Kindall earned his Associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Determined to go even further, he later earned his Bachelor's degree from Walden University in 2021, an accomplishment that reflected his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to achieving his goals.
Kindall was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family and community. He proudly served as a Correctional Officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections, where he carried out his duties with professionalism and integrity. In addition to his service in corrections, Kindall was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a successful security company, Scott's Protection Service, earning the respect and trust of many through his leadership and dedication.
In his free time, Kindall enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending quality time with his family. He found great joy in being surrounded by the people he loved most.
Kindall was a devoted son who faithfully cared for his mother, Toni M. Scott, serving as her caregiver until her passing in 2025. He lovingly nurtured and supported her during her time of need, showing the depth of his compassion and unwavering love.
Above all, Kindall deeply loved his son, Elijah J. White, who meant the world to him. His love and pride for his son were evident to everyone who knew him.
Kindall was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Toni M. Scott, and his stepfather, Robert White; his maternal grandparents, Reverend James J. Scott and Frances Elizabeth Scott (Frances B. Scott); his great-grandparents, Nelson Moore and Reverend Lillie Elizabeth Sartor Moore; his paternal grandparents, William Lindsey and Naomi Lindsey; his uncles, Jonas Scott, James V. L. Scott, Sanford Jenkins, and Keith K. Scott; and his great aunts and uncles, Bobbie Dawkins, Little Pearl Jeter, and Shirley Moore.
Kindall leaves to cherish his precious memories his father, William (Debra) Lindsey; his beloved son, Elijah J. White; and his brothers, Keith Lindsey and Kelton Lindsey.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his aunts and uncles, whom he lovingly considered his siblings: Rudolph (Maurica) Scott of San Antonio, Texas, Jeanne M. Beverly of
Gulfport, Mississippi, Melody M. Jackson of Riverdale, Georgia, James J. Scott of
Gulfport, Mississippi, Warren (Joyce) Lindsey, Effie Mitchell, and Patricia Hanley; his aunts, Stephanie Williams of Tampa, Florida, and Gloria Cane of Pensacola, Florida.
Kindall leaves behind his great aunts, Hattie May Harris of
Gulfport, Mississippi, Rose M. Miller, Bonnie J. Simpkins, and Francena Daniels. He shared a special bond with his favorite cousin, best friend, and personal diary, Temeka Dunn Hill, who held a very special place in his heart; his cousins, Kelvin, Charles, Kay, Denine, Marie, William, and Tracie; his nieces and nephews, Keiadra, Keith Moses, Kadence, Jaylonie, and Keliona.
Kindall leaves to cherish his memory a host of beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews, Nicky, Krystal, Keisha, Shavoka, Franchesca, Francis, Lashonda, Christian, Jada, Jayla, Semej, Avin, Carvell, Jonas, Daymion, Jeremy, Emori, Donavon, Claundre, Quincy, Kris, and many, many more relatives and dear friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts; a very special friend, Consandra Thomas, and his newborn godchild, Princess Yazlynn K. Anderson, both of whom held a special place in his heart.
Kindall's life was a reflection of faith, love, strength, and devotion to family. He touched the lives of many through his ministry, his kindness, and his unwavering support for those he loved. Whether through a word of encouragement, a helping hand, or simply his presence, Kindall left an unforgettable impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in the physical sense, his spirit, love, and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who loved him most.
