Kip Edwin Asmus Sr.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, Kip Edwin Asmus Sr, resident of Pearl River, LA., passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home at the age of 66. Kip was an avid fisherman, born and raised in New York, and loved his job of Paint and Body work on automobiles. He is survived by his wife Mary Holladay, his children Karin Jones, Kristina Asmus, and Kip Asmus, Jr., step children Chelsea Holladay (Nelson), and Kayla Holladay, grandchildren; Kaylan Amandor, Khloe Jones, Mason Ruggaber, Madison Asmus, Kylie Asmus, Kinsley Asmus, Hayden Junek, Eric "EJ" Aubert, Andre Rombero, and Harlea Holladay, great grandchildren Kolton and Scarlett, and his siblings Kraig "Skip" Asmus (Pauline) and Kim Ahnert (Richard). He is preceded in death by his parents Karl Asmus Jr. and Virginia Cosser Asmus, and his siblings; Kurt Asmus, Kandy Asmus, and Karl Asmus. He will be missed greatly. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
