Kiran Rao Paramatmuni, MD, 43, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA on February 4, 2023, after a prolonged illness surrounded by his loved ones.
Kiran was born on October 28,1979 and was raised in Basking Ridge, NJ. He matriculated from The Pingry High School, NJ., graduated from Johns Hopkins University, then attained an MPH from Rutgers University.
Kiran furthered his education from St. George's School of Medicine, Grenada and received his medical degree from ICAHN School of Medicine @ Mount Sinai/morning side/west. Finally, finished his formal education by becoming infectious disease specialist from Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Practiced his specialty at Lankenau Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.
Anyone who knew him would undoubtedly vouch for his dedication to his parents, patients and profession. Our world, no doubt lost a one-of-a-kind human in Dr. Paramatmuni, who loved traveling, collecting various countries' mineral rocks, coins and coffee mugs. Kiran, was active in the Hindu community, trying to understand the meaning of life, rituals.
