A loving husband to the late Sumatiben K. Patel for 61 years, a beloved father to Milan and Mamta, a cherished father-in-law to Pragna, and an incredibly jovial and deeply caring grandfather to Marissa, Monika, and Simba. He was the respected and loved patriarch of our entire extended family, which spans three generations.
He leaves behind not only a legacy of love, but also a tapestry of deep friendships and connections that stretch across four continents and nine decades. He embraced every moment, celebrating life to its fullest-always with a drink in one hand, a warm smile that lit up the room, and spirited laughter across his face.
May his soul now rest in peace, reunited with his beloved wife, and be eternally surrounded by joy, love, and the laughter he so generously shared with us all.
A Pooja for Kirit will be held at DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Sunday, August 17, 2025, beginning at 11 AM. The service will be live streamed at the following link for those unable to attend in person.
