Kirk Joseph Conner

Kirk Joseph Conner, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on April 23, 1947, to Luce Marie Landry Conner and Murphy Joseph Conner, in Abbeville, Louisiana.
Kirk was a carpenter of out of high school for a cabinet shop. He then went to work for his father's home building and contraction company, Magic Mark Homes and Mansard Homes. Later he worked as a mechanic on marine motors and was known by his co-workers as "fossil".
Kirk and Becky cruised and traveled the world to Canada, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, Italy, including their honeymoon cruise to Alaska.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Conner; loving stepsons, Paul Copty and his wife, Joni and Peleg Copty and his wife, Jessica, both of Lumberton; sisters, Geraldine Conner Kozun Barnes and her husband, Jerry, of Lake Jackson and Jennifer Conner Dupont and her husband, Robert, of McKinney; stepmother, Lou Conner of McKinney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.

His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, 6620 Westgate Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
