He discharged from the Marines and went received a job as a steel worker at Bethlehem Steele in Baltimore Md and worked as such for many years before retiring. Mr. Kirk couldn't sit at home doing anything so soon after his retirement he went back to work at Amazon and loved every minute of it. He loved to work to provide for his family and such. An outgoing person and had a lot of friends everyone called him "Mr. Kirk" he always said he felt like the grandpa on the job because it was so many young people but they all loved and respected Mr. Kirk.

He also loved the news, keeping up with what's going on in the world was his thing he didn't miss a beat. Very well-mannered and awesome man. He could fix anything that was broke and wouldn't stop until he found a solution to whatever problem he's taken on at the time. He was an old school type pf guy, so he was smooth with everything. The music he listens too down to the clothes he wears you couldn't change his mind or thought process for anything he was stuck in his was but that was always a good thing to have in our life. He loved everyone but them grandkids was his favorite! They made his days and life brighter and would go to bat for them right or wrong.
