Kirk Michael Skinner, 76, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026.
He was born on October 27, 1949, in Sheboygan, WI, to Norman and Constance (Felker) Skinner.
Surviving Kirk are his sister, Sally Read and former wife, Jeanne Skinner. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Sean Skinner and Todd Bowers; and brother, Mark Skinner.
Kirk proudly served in the United States Army.
After his military service, Kirk worked many years as a truck driver, later retiring as such. In his earlier years, he enjoyed driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Kirk loved Notre Dame football and looked forward to each game day.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date.
