Kitty F. Golem

Kitty F. Golem (nee Tabler), age 94, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late George R.; cherished mother of Robin, Ronald (Cynthia), Laura Grenig (Robert, Jr.), Elaine Moreno, and Brian (Denise); loving grandmother of Colin, Nolan (Sarah), Dana (Danny), Callie (Kyle), Alexandra, Jonathan, and Michael; and dearest great-grandmother of Maeve.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pauline (nee Ambrose) Tabler; and her brother, Kenneth Tabler.
Kitty graduated from the Maryland General School of Nursing and had worked as a dedicated registered nurse at several area hospitals, including the VA Hospital and former Deaconess Hospital. She was also a member of the local nurses club.
She was an active, longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church, where she had been a volunteer and a member of the Altar Guild. She had also been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Kitty had been a hard worker all her life, and what was most important to her was a sense of service to others. Whether it was in her role as nurse, her involvement at church, or at home with her husband and family, to whom she was devoted most of all, caring for the needs of others before her own made Kitty the person she was, and her selflessness and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her!
Memorial contributions to honor Kitty may be made in her name to Bethany Lutheran Church and School, 6041 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.
Cremation by Busch Crematory.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at 10:00 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 6041 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 10:00 am at the church.
