Rita Florence Marek

Rita F. Marek, age 62 of North Royalton, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Beloved daughter of David and the late Lou Ann Marek (nee Merholz); cherished sister of Lorraine Dwyer (Dennis), Stephen (Lisa), James, Mary Nutter (Eric), Pamela Romer (Greg), David (Julie), Patrick (Angie), Edward, and Richard (Jessica); aunt and great-aunt of 20; niece, cousin, and friend to many. Rita also leaves her family and friends from her home at NCC Solutions Alpha II in North Royalton.

Rita's family is extremely grateful for the loving care she received from Alpha II and Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Meet at church. Family will receive friends at a memorial gathering from 5-8pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
