Kobe Walker Vaughns was birthed July 7, 2008 at Rivers Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS to Shakespeare Vaughns Jr. and Sheryl Vaughns, Kobe attended Kosciusko School District where he played JV basketball. Kobe played AAU basketball for the Yung Bulls and with the Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club. Kobe loved basketball. Kobe was versatile playing sports: basketball, football, baseball and kickball. Kobe played his PS5 with family and friends. Kobe was loved by all and never met a stranger. He joked and loved to have fun. He loved God, family and friends.
He departed his life February 5, 2024. He leaves to cherish loving memories, his loving Father and Mother: Shakespeare Vaughns Jr. and Sheryl Vaughns, Brothers: Donny (Kassy) Smith, Kameron Vaughns, Tyler Vaughns; Sister: Akasha Vaughns; Grandparents: Johnny and Shirley Roby & Diane (David) Brown and Shakespeare Vaughns, Sr.; great Grandmother: Irene Tate; 2 special nieces: Rarlynn and Alayah, a Special Cousin: Keston Vaughns; Uncle: Larry (Teresa) Walker; Aunt: Valerie Vaughns and a host of cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends.
PLACE OF SERVICE: Winters Funeral Home
DATE OF SERVICE: Tuesday 02/13/2024 at 11:00 a.m.
INTERMENT: Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS
