Koby Dylan Beck, a radiant soul whose loving spirit touched the lives of everyone he encountered, left the world far too soon on October 13, 2024, in Temple, Texas, surrounded by his family and friends.

Born on January 31, 1995, in Temple, Koby was a bright and shining light, known for his unwavering kindness, his infectious smile, and his relentless quest to improve and be better.

A proud graduate of Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Illinois, Koby's thirst for knowledge was only matched by his love for music and the joy it brought to his life. Whether he was passionately playing his drum set, diving into the adventures of Dungeons & Dragons, or listening to music, Koby thrived on creativity and connection. He cherished moments spent in the company of family and friends, understanding the value of shared experiences and laughter.

Koby is survived by his parents, Larry Dean Beck, Jr. of Belton, Texas, and Angela Renaé (Ray) McCoy of Harker Heights, Texas. He leaves behind three brothers, Brandon Beck of Kempner, Texas, Kaleb McCoy, and Alexander McCoy, both of Harker Heights, Texas, and a sister, Charlina Beck of Belton, Texas. The warmth of his grandparent's love will always hold a special place in the hearts of his family, as he is survived by Sylvia Beck of Belton, Texas, Larry Beck, Sr. of Sargent, Texas, Dianne Dahl of Harker Heights, Texas, and Larry Ray of Temple, Texas.

As we gather to honor Koby, we are reminded of the countless memories shared with him and the joy he brought into our lives. His legacy of love and kindness will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Tabernacle Church, located at 1205 S Walker St, Belton, TX 76513. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM at the same location, officiated by Pastor Jesse Ratliff.

Though Koby has departed from this world, his spirit will remain in our hearts, inspiring us always to strive for better and to live with the same loving kindness that he shared so freely.
