Koco Vongprachanh Obituary
Koco Vongprachanh, 53, passed away at 8:00 am on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 7, 1971 in Vientiane, Laos to Chanhauane "John" and Khamphy Vongprachanh.
Koco is survived by her sons, Mark Vongprachanh of Wood River and Justin Lin of Wood River; a daughter, Andriana Lin of Wood River; her parents, Chanhouane "John" and Khamphy Vongprachanh of Wood River; three sisters, Lami Ennen of Missouri, Naeng Vongprachanh of Laos, and Skye Khatiya of San Diego; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and good friends.
A Buddhist ceremony will be held 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Following services, the family will be hosting a celebration of life with a luncheon at 500 S. 9th Street, Wood River, IL.

Meet at the nail shop years ago and became, very close. We would meet up to talk and eat and just have a really good time. Talked everyday about everything!
