Obituary
Kolten Del Thompson, 19 of Ranger, WV departed this life on October 30, 2023.
He was born March 5, 2004 in Huntington, WV the son of Valery Thompson and Douglas Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phyllis Neace and Lonnie Thompson; and cousin, Edward Wayne Toney.
Kolten enjoyed dirt bike riding and hunting.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his grandfather, Ernest Neace of Ranger, WV; grandmother, Margaret Thompson of Harts, WV; sisters, Savanna Thompson and Samantha Thompson both of Huntington, WV; aunts and uncles, Pam and Randy Toney, Shelia and Eddie Webb, and Kathy and Carl Fields; girlfriend, Hannah Vance of Harts, WV; best friend since kindergarten Jordan Toppins; Uncle Tom and Aunt Violet who were like a second set of grandparents; special cousins who were so much more, Brandon Toney, aunt Tab, aunt Michelle, Kristen, Casey, Ashley, and Thad who was like a brother.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, November 4, 2023 at the funeral home with Ernest Vance and Bennie Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the Edward Wayne Toney Memorial Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends
