Konstantinos Kasimatis Obituary
Born in Eleufsis, Greece, Mr. Kasimatis came to the United States in 1966 settling in New Brunswick, formerly of Highland Park, he resided in Monroe Twp. for the past 5 years.
He played Professional Soccer with the Panelefsiniakos F.C. in the Greek 1st Division located in Greece.
Mr. Kasimatis worked as a Licensed Electrican in both New Jersey and in Greece. He enter the Leather Industry in NJ and had a Leather Manufacturing Company in Greece where he was both in Wholesale and Retail business. Mr. Kasimatis was a member of the Merchant Marines.
Predeceased by his sisters Marika Matsoukas, Ourania Gargalidis and Baby Ninika; a brother George Kasimatis. Surviving are his wife Argyro (Markakis) Kasimatis; 2 sons Emmanuel and Kosmas Kasimatis; a sister Kerani Thanelas; 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway from 9:00am to 10:00am followed by a funeral service. Interment to follow at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The GLEASON FUNERAL HOME OF NORTH BRUNSWICK, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ
