Kris J Falslev returned to his heavenly home on June 20, 2025 at the age of 51. He was born to Ephraim & Thelma (Rasmussen) Falslev in Logan, Utah. He was the youngest of Eph’s two children and Thelma’s six children.
Kris was married to Chellie Stout for several years. He later married Holly Lewis and was blessed to be a step-father to Jade Lewis. Kris and Holly added two children, Savanna Berlyn and Jax Ephraim Falslev.
Kris loved life and trying new things, whether it be do-it-yourself projects or physical activities. He enjoyed and was very capable at many sports, including basketball, football, MMA fighting, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, shooting, and especially fishing. He was an extremely skilled fly fisherman, and occasionally worked part-time as a fly-fishing guide. He was good humored but also had a competitive nature, often challenging his older siblings to wrestling, basketball, pool, or other contests.
Kris was a skilled autobody technician, having been in the industry for over 30 years. He worked at Don’s Auto Body in Millville, Utah and Wolford Collision Repair in Logan, Utah. He also had his own paintless dent repair business on the side. He learned to weld, a skill that came in handy in autobody work and also in repairing and building various projects around his house and shop.
Kris was kind and generous with others, especially those who were down on their luck. More than anything else, Kris loved his family and especially his children. Nearly every room in his house was adorned with multiple pictures of Savanna and Jax, and he constantly talked of them and his dreams for them. Kris loved family gatherings, and always felt a bit sad when the gatherings ended and everyone returned home.
He is survived by his two children, Savanna and Jax Falslev (Providence, UT), stepdaughter Jade Stott (St George, UT), his mother, Thelma Falslev (Logan, UT), five older brothers, and one older sister, and multiple nieces and nephews whom he thoroughly loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Ephraim Falslev.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 500 North 100 East in Logan, Utah. Friends and family are invited to attend. Interment will follow at the Weston, Idaho Cemetery. There will not be a viewing.
