In Loving Memory
Kris A. Plumley- Fallati
February 10, 1958 – November 2, 2025
UTICA, NY - In the early morning, Sunday November 2, 2025, Kris gained her angel wings. Born February 10, 1958, to Marlene and Clarence (Bud) Plumley. Kris grew up in the quaint town of McConnelsville, NY. She was a graduate of both Camden High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. Kris recently retired after working 38 years in the insurance industry.
May 28, 1987, Kris took on her greatest role in life, becoming the mother to her daughter Allison. They were more than just mother and daughter, they were each other's everything. Kris was also known as mom to many of Allison's friends. Her role as Girl Scout Leader was one of the highlights in life. Her creativity, craftiness, and ability to make people feel welcomed was one of a kind. Her smile lit up every room, and her laugh carried miles. To her, life was about making memories with those she loved the most.
Family was everything to Kris. She wanted nothing more than to spend time with her family. Her favorite time was when everyone was gathered, as a family, for their yearly trip to Cape Cod on the Fourth of July. You could find her rocking in a rocking chair on the deck or playing a rousing game of dominoes with the family. All with the biggest, brightest smile on her face.
Kris is survived by her beloved daughter, Allison and son-in- law Michael Fanelli. Her brightest joy and best buddy, grandson Tanner Fanelli. Her sister, Karen Nichols, whom she loved more than anything. They shared a love of crafts ranging from quilting, to knitting, to cross stitching and beyond. Her brother-in-law Thomas Nichols, whom she loved so dearly. Sister-in- law Linda Plumley. Nieces Lauren (Brian) Nichols Morrison, Kate (Dave) Nichols, Kara (Adam) Roy, and Samantha (Kartik) Plumley who she loved so much. As well as many cousins and friends.
Kris was predeceased by her parents Marlene (Seamans) and Clarence (Bud) Plumley, as well as her brother Kurt Plumley. Kris will also be reunited with her four-legged companion Parker. She shared almost 15 years with him right by her side.
Her life will be celebrated in a Private Memorial Service on November 20, 2025. Arrangements are in care of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY.
