Krista was born on March 31, 1972 in Paulding, OH to Jimmie J. Poling and Lynn (Adams) Nutter. Krista began her life long career with the Village of Paulding Police Department in 1996 as a clerk and then made a transition into working as a police officer. Some of Krista's favorite things were reading, Vera Bradley, taking vacations (especially anywhere with water), her dogs, and her (too many to list) TV shows.
Krista will be sadly missed by her mother, Lynn (Jim) Nutter, Paulding, OH; sons: Javier Gonzales, Columbus, OH; Quintin Gonzales, Paulding, OH; daughter, Alyssa (Jimmy) Graves, Paulding, OH; brother, Jack (Carrie) Poling, Defiance, OH; sister, Vanessa Poling, Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Gabriel Gonzales, A.J. Morales, and Dallas Graves.
Krista was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie J. Poling in 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.
There will be calling hours from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be an hour of calling from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Krista's memory to the Elaine Manz Pretty in Pink Fund or the Paulding County Dog Shelter.
