Kristen Meier Obituary
Kristen Marie Meier, age 30, passed away on August 2, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a lifelong battle with type 1 diabetes. Kristen was born February 3, 1993, in Appleton, daughter of Brian and the late Dawn (Oakley) Fernandez.
Kristen enjoyed being outside and in nature. She loved art, especially in the form of her many tattoos. She was an amazing, sassy, joyful person whom many people cared about. As her last, selfless gift to the world, Kristen was an organ donor. Her donation helped countless people regain health.
Kristen leaves behind her young sons: Bently and Sawyer; father: Brian; sister: Bryanna; brother: Brandon; special friends: Danielle and Alexis; as well as many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her mother: Dawn; and her grandparents.
Kristen’s family asks that you take a moment to think of her and the love she shared with others as there will be no services planned.
