Kristi R. Butrum, of Mitchell, SD passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. A visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, September 19, 2025 at Will Funeral Chapel.

Kristi Renee Krietlow was born in Mitchell, SD to Arthur and Wilma (Hugg) Krietlow. She attended school in Mitchell.

Kristi married Richard "Rocky" Lee Hoeltzner. She was a stay-at-home mom; raising their children and taking care of the household. On August 31, 1991 Kristi married Duane Butrum. She stayed home to raise their children.

She enjoyed reading, going to rummage sales, thrifting, music, and most importantly, her grandkids.

Grateful for having shared her life with her is husband, Duane, Mitchell, SD children; Al Butrum, Mitchell, SD, Ricky (Jennifer) Hoeltzner, Watertown, SD, Lisa (Russ) Ennor, Brandon, SD, Amy Hoeltzner, Mitchell, SD, and Corey Butrum, Mitchell, SD, nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; brothers; Vale (Barb) Krietlow, Mitchell, SD, William Krietlow, Mitchell, SD, Richard (Kaye) Krietlow, Mitchell, SD, sisters; Kaye Schoonhen, Rochelle Park, NJ, Cheryl Uttecht, Mitchell, SD, and Kim Krietlow, Mitchell, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charlie and Lannie.
