Kristie was born on December 20, 1948 in North Bend to her parents, Harold and Darlene Benson. She grew up on Benson Ranch in Lakeside with a strong spirit, a kind heart, and a passion for life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Kristie is survived by her devoted husband, Carl; daughters, Cathryn, Tracie and Meagan; sons, Kyle and Brady; and grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Everett, Cyan, Connor, Jordan and Karly.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society since Kristie was a breast cancer survivor. Friends and family are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at www.coosbayareafunerals.com and www.theworldlink.com. Arrangements are under the care of North Bend Chapel, 541-756-0440.
