It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Kristin Luree Chapman Zonozi, who died peacefully on the evening of May 16, 2025, surrounded by her husband and family.
Kristin was born on December 5, 1983, in Virginia to Evan and Teresa Chapman. She was the beloved sister of Thomas and Jimmy Chapman, devoted wife to Amir Zonozi, and proud and loving mother to her three sons: Hudson, Rocky, and Maverick.
Kristin's life was marked by fierce love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion. She loved with her whole heart-completely, protectively, and selflessly. Her family was her world, and she poured her entire being into creating a life filled with meaning, comfort, and care. She approached motherhood with intention and deep purpose, raising her boys with boundless tenderness, strength, and joy.
A natural organizer and planner, Kristin brought calm and clarity to every space she touched. Whether it was managing the details of daily life or navigating the chaos of medical appointments and uncertainty, she brought grace, precision, and thoughtfulness to it all. Her ability to prepare, anticipate, and lead with care was one of her quiet superpowers.
She made every space brighter, every moment warmer, and every heart fuller. Her laughter, empathy, and sharp sense of humor were gifts to all who knew her.
Kristin faced her diagnosis of stomach cancer with extraordinary courage. She surpassed every expectation-fighting with everything she had to be present for her boys and husband. Even in the most challenging moments, she remained thoughtful of others, offering love, humor, and comfort.
She will be remembered for her deep compassion, her organizational brilliance, her fierce love, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind in her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Kristin's devotion to her children, donations may be made to help support ongoing childcare for Hudson, Rocky, & Maverick: https://mealtrain.com/dvn02v
