Kristin Ann Jones, age 43 of Ogdensburg, died unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born on October 24, 1980, daughter of David and Kathy (Handrich) Pethke.
Kristin was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa and graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1999. After high school, she received an Associates Degree in Business Management from Fox Valley Technical College. She owned and operated, along with her mother, the Drive Inn in Manawa for 9 years. The last eight years, she was an Events Coordinator at Rawhide Youth Services in New London. Kristin was a loving mother and wife. Kristin and Jason said their greatest accomplishment was being parents to Peyton. She loved fishing and spending time with her family, especially going to her parents cottage in Phillips. She had a strong faith in her Savior. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa.
She is survived by her husband, Jason; daughter, Peyton; parents: David and Kathy Pethke; mother-in-law, Carrie (Larry) Katerzynske; father-in-law, Kirk (Wanda) Jones; brother, Brad (Emily) Pethke; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Ashley (Mike) Murphy, Lindsey (Ben) Uvaas, Garrett (Lauren) Katerzynske; nieces and nephews: Aaron, Annelise and Leona Pethke; McKenna Tennesen, Henley Murphy, Everett and Kit Uvaas, Atticus Katerzynske. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: William and Lucille Pethke; maternal grandparents: Clarence and Verna Handrich; uncle, Russell Handrich; Jason's grandparents: William and Betty Albright and Howard and Agnes Palmer.
The funeral service for Kristin will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa (742 Depot St.) with Rev. Nathan Reichle officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 4-7 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
