Kristina Anita Patterson Statom was born on February 2, 1981 to Darlene Patterson and Robert McHenry. She departed this life August 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother Darlene Patterson, grandmother, Mary L. Patterson, and her grandfather Albert T. Patterson, and brother, Mico Patterson.

She leaves to cherish her memory of her loving husband; Jackie L. Statom, her daughters; Trinity Statom & Lanita L. Statom, her sons; Jeremiah Patterson & Xavier Statom, brothers; Lynnes Patterson & Aaron Patterson, one sister; Chastity Patterson, mother-in-law; Lisa Walton, a number of brother and sister-in-laws; Shomone Statom, Rochelle Fields Statom, Charles D. Fields, Corey L. Statom, and Jamie Statom, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Kristina received her education from Harris-Stowe State University. Truly, she was a woman of many gifts, talents, and trades. She worked in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant. She had a passion for working with children, the elderly, and disabled patients. Helping other people get back on their feet was a ministry of her own, and that included feeding the homeless and anyone in need. Kristina also took pride in her work in the fast food industry, where they built lasting friendships and brightened the days of many others with her hard work, and warm smile. She was a reliable and friendly face in the community.

She was a woman of integrity and dignity, most people who knew her would describe her as very generous, caring, and full of life and compassion. Kristina was a light in everyone's life, and she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
