It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Kristina M. Trapani on December 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 15, 1987, in the Bronx, Kristina graced the world with her vibrant spirit, creativity, and unwavering love for those around her.
Kristina shared an extraordinary bond with her father, Louis, who was her steadfast source of guidance, love, and support. Together, they created countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Kristina also held dear the lasting memories she shared with her late mother, Patricia, whose love and influence shaped her deeply. Her heart remained filled with gratitude and affection for her recently departed grandmother, whose wisdom and warmth were a source of constant comfort.
Kristina was a true artist at heart. As a talented hairdresser, she transformed not only appearances but also the confidence and joy of everyone she touched. Her passion for beauty and creativity extended far beyond her craft; she found inspiration in music, art, Broadway, home décor, and cooking. Whether it was crafting a meal or a memory, she poured her heart into everything she did.
On April 12, 2013, Kristina married her childhood sweetheart and soulmate, James. Their love story was a testament to enduring devotion and mutual respect. Together, they built a beautiful life and a loving home, blessed with their two adoring sons, James, age 9, and Matthew, age 4. As a mother, Kristina's love was boundless. She dedicated herself fully to nurturing her beloved boys, creating a world filled with laughter, music, wisdom, and unconditional support. She leaves her soulmate James and 2 cherished sons James and Matthew with a lifetime of beautiful and irreplaceable moments and memories, never to be forgotten.
Kristina's faith was a cornerstone of her life. A devout Catholic, she gave generously to her church and community, embodying the values of compassion and service. A true and humble servant of God. A loyal friend and thoughtful advisor, Kristina had a gift for bringing people together. Her radiant smile, gentle soul, and zest for life will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Services
All are welcome to attend a visitation on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in
Mahopac, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Private cremation and interment of ashes will follow at a later date.
