Kristy Marie Leinenbach, 46, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her home in Tell City, IN.
She was born on November 12, 1978, in Owensboro, KY, to Jo Ann (Kempf) Morgan and the late Rick Leinenbach.
Kristy was a 2000 graduate of Tell City High School. She was an active member of the Special Olympics when she was younger, participating in routines for the Cheer Pride Jungle Cats. Kristy enjoyed taking rides and doodling in her notebook. She loved being with her family and was rarely seen without a smile.
Surviving are her siblings, Kourtney Casebolt (Jeff) of Tell City and Kasey Mullins (Chance) of Huntingburg; her nieces and nephews, Valorie Waninger, Kyla Casebolt, Kaiden Casebolt, Kasyn Ingle, Emersyn Ingle, Gracie Mullins, Lucie Mullins, Ellie Mullins, Emerie Mullins, and Oakley Mullins; and her mother Jo Ann Morgan of Cannelton.
Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Rick Leinenbach; her grandparents, Merilyn and Kenny Leinenbach; and her puppies, Ana and Mia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, with Fr. Luke Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in St. Isidore Catholic Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, February 17, 2025, and from 8:30am to 10:00am on Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Perry County Special Olympics or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
