Kristy Lee McClanahan, 71, of Shalersville Twp., OH, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025. She was born October 2, 1953, in Spokane, WA, to the late Charles and EmmaJean (nee Manskey) McClanahan.
She was raised in Spokane, WA, and graduated from University High School in Spokane Valley, WA in 1972. Kristy worked various jobs throughout her life but her most important job was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, she loved people watching; she was a jokester and loved laughing. Kristy loved her serial killer shows, Frasier, The Sopranos, and I Love Lucy was her all-time favorite!
Kristy will be deeply missed by her children, Grace (Richard) Simsa, Kristina (Michael) Blevins, and Clifford (Amanda) Loss; grandchildren, Evan Loss, Anthony Loss, Ethan Smith, Amber Smith, Keigan Smith, Patty Rabel, R.J Simsa, Taylor Simsa, and Brooke Simsa; great grandchildren, Mason, Amelia, Makenzee, Rylee, Evan, Finn, Avery, Makenna, and Conner; brother, Michael Mclanahan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Please join the family for a memorial visitation Saturday, July 26, 2025, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
