Kristy Raye Brossette Watson, 48, passed away in Alexandria, Louisiana on Monday November 17,2025.
Funeral services will be be held at 12:00 pm Monday November 24,2025 at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Monday November 24, 2025 at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory from 10:00 am until the service hour. Burial will follow in Gorum Cemetery in Gorum, Louisiana.
She was born November 15, 1977 in Pineville, Louisiana, to Jimmy Ray Brossette and Cheryl Delacerda Brossette. She devoted her life to caring for her family as a loving stay-at-home mother and dedicated homemaker.
Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ray Brossette, and her beloved daughter, Breanna McCartney.
She leaves behind her fiancé MarkJ Smith, son Brayden Watson of Stockton, Georgia; her mother Cheryl Brossette of Tioga, Louisiana; her sister, Stacey Brossette of Tioga, Louisiana; one cherished grandchild, Kayson Pierite; nieces Eden Brossette Richmond and husband Daniel Richmond, neice Cheyenne Lamkin Boyd and husband Jeffery Boyd, nephew Dakota Hughes.
Kristy lived life with a true country spirit. She loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding four-wheelers, and cheering on monster trucks and dirt-track racing. She enjoyed crafting, cooking for those she loved, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a proud LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan and adored her Bassett hound, Droopy, who was always by her side.
