Kristy Lynne Sanders, age 71, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at her residence in Kansas, OK. She was born on June 8, 1953 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Mary Davidson and Bobby Lee Steers. Kristy was their first child of 3 children.
Kristy worked caring for people, she started as a pastor's wife at New Testament Church for 20 years in Washington State, then moved back home to Coffeyville and worked at Windsor Place as an activity Director for several years. Later moving to Admissions for Coffeyville Regional Medical Center and retired. She spent several years in Washington State before returning home to Coffeyville to care for her parents. One of the most important things to mom was caring for people. Her love and support for everyone around was unmatched. She has always been such a loving, giving, accepting person who only wanted those around her to be happy.
Kristy is proceeded in death by her parents Mary and Virgil Davidson and her sister Donna Steers.
She will be missed so dearly by us all. Leaving behind her is Kristy's brother Jeff Steers; her 3 children Katrina Allen, Randy Sanders and Michelle Rotharmel; Her grandchildren eldest being Austin Ryder, Christopher and Kelsey Ryder, Kevyn Bailey, Jared and Karyssa Ryder, Alexander Ryder, Brendon Sanders and Quinton Mayers; many great-grandchildren; her Niece and 3 Nephews Adam Steers, Andrea Steers Andrus, Alex Steers and Andrew Steers; many loved ones of family and friends.
Kristy will forever be remembered by all of those that loved her. She spread love wherever she went. Her faith is now her sight.
As is a tale, so is a life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters. Family mattered to mom. Momma loved the Lord with all her heart. She had faith and trusted the Lord to guide her through her life. She loved her family so dearly. She has always been creative. Creating things whether making junk journals, making cards, sewing clothes, and reading. Her handwriting was incredibly beautiful. Momma used to practice handwriting as a child and wrote in calligraphy format. After she retired, she spent her time with her youngest grandchild Xander, cherishing their time together and enjoying life while sharing the very special bond they weaved.
"We will always carry your memory in our hearts".
