Nadine Duncan departed this life into the open arms of her Savior, August 15, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on September 18, 1936, in Southwest City, MO, Nadine was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt. She received the degree of Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude from The Southwest Missouri State College August 4, 1970. She worked on the editorial staff for the Pentecostal Evangel in the 1960's, then as an operator for Southwestern Bell until her first retirement in her early sixties. She moved to Miltonvale, KS and following her love for work, social interaction and the printed word, she worked another 20+ years for The Miltonvale Record and Concordia Blade Empire, Concordia, KS as a proofreader. Nadine loved the printed word and wrote two books in her lifetime. A memoir of her early years and then a photo book about Kansas. She also loved sunflowers. She fostered a daughter, Patience Davis with the help of a close friend. She was preceded in death by both parents, Father - Lester Ross (Dick) Duncan and Mother - Della Vencie Womack. She is survived by her siblings, Fred (Jo Carole) Duncan, Humble, TX, Judy (Mark) Lavine, Grove, OK, Joyce Renee (Tom) Pitts, O'Fallon, IL and Stephen Duncan, Republic, MO. Also, as special to her heart as any son could be, Tobias (Anne) Nettie and children, Alyssa, Lacey and Kaitlyn of Boston, MA. Interment will be at the Old Mission Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita, KS. Small animals were her heart and we are sure a donation to your local Humane Society in lieu of flowers, would make her most happy. ;
