Krystal Renee Johnson, 38, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at her residence.
She was born in Burke County on December 20, 1986. Krystal, who was a very lovable young lady, had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed making others smile and laugh. Krystal loved a wide range of music. She was a fashionable person who enjoyed shopping.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Brian Yount; paw-paws, Virgil Price and Bob Yount; and an uncle, Eddie Price.
Those left to cherish her memory are her partner, John Wilkerson; children, Shayla Connelly, Natyri Davis, and Nova Wilkerson; parents, Jerry Johnson and Virginia “Jennie” Johnson (Dwayne); grandchildren, Piper Martin, Justice Rumley, and one granddaughter on the way, her sister, Kristie Yutzy (Glenn); three nieces, Parker, Sutton, and Ezra; maternal grandmother, Vickie Price; and paternal grandmother, Marty Yount.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced once finalized.
