Krysten Maria Bradley Gentile, age 40, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and husband on February 3, 2022, after a courageous 4-year battle with breast cancer. Krysten was raised in Collingdale, PA and currently resides in Garnet Valley, PA. She graduated from Archbishop of Prendergast High School, Cabrini University (BC), and Wilmington University (MBA).

Krysten was happiest spending time with her husband, her three boys, and her family. She loved traveling all over the world especially trips to Disney and the Bahamas and spending her summers in Wildwood, NJ surrounded with family and friends. She loved big holiday dinners with her siblings, in-laws, and parents (and always some extras she would invite along the way).

Krysten was a Director at SAP for 14 years and excelled in her career. She took up a second passion in life when she launched the internationally known podcast "Making the Breast of It" which brought resources to inspire, enlighten, and educate about the realities of metastatic breast cancer. She left her mark far and wide and she felt a strong sense of compassion and purpose in this community.

Krysten always brought the laughter, entertainment, and dancing to every event. She was the person that made friends everywhere she went. Krysten was full of joy, love, and lived her life by leaving people better than how she met them.

Krysten is predeceased in death by her Brother-in-Law, Louise Gentile.

Survivors: Her Loving Husband, John Gentile of 10 years, Her beloved Children: Bradley, Christian, and Dean. Her Father and Mother: Patrick and Frances (Venckus) Bradley, Her Brother: Patrick Bradley III (wife Janae) Father and Mother In-Law: J. Gentile and Gloria Gentile, Sister-in-Law: Lisa Oronzio (husband Daniel); Nieces: Alisha and Nicole Oronzio and Lindsay Bowman, Nephews: Patrick and Jack Bradley.

As a fellow metastatic breast cancer patient I tuned into Krysten´s podcast on a regular basis. It was nice to hear from someone else who was going through the same thing I was. I was so sad to hear of Kristen´s passing. I´m sending prayers to her husband, John and her three sons.

I was so sorry to hear that we lost "our" warrior, Krysten. I say "our" because John, Bradley, Christian, and Dean unselfishly shared their wife and mother with all of us. My heartfelt sympathies to them as well as to Fran, Brad, and Patrick. Although neighbors in Collingdale, I did not really know Krysten growing up as she was younger than me and older than my children. Little did we realize how uncanny our lives were to become, as I was also a mother of 3 young boys diagnosed with breast cancer years prior. Upon hearing about her diagnosis through a mutual neighbor, I started listening to "Making the Breast of It" podcasts as well as following her on Instagram and instantly became a huge fan of and sideline cheerleader for Kristen.

I was in awe of her courage, inspiration, honesty, and humor she showed not only with her cancer but also with her everyday life as a mother of 3 little boys. I can speak from experience, that it takes an extraordinary woman to "live her breast life" and how incredibly honored and blessed we were to witness that.

Krysten, you traded your warrior´s armor in for angel´s wings, may you rest now in God´s love and light.

Krysten was and will always be a beautiful person. I remember how kind she was to staceys pop pop at her wedding. With all the things she had to do she took the time to speak to all of us to make us feel as comfortable as possible. To me kindness to others was Krystens biggest asset. She will be terribly missed. We were neighbors with Krysten when she was growing up in Collingdale and very good friends with her mom Fran, her dad Brad, and brother Patrick. Krysten- honey so beautiful inside and outside. We followed you podcasts- what an inspiration you were despite what you battled. My heart goes out to her husband, children, parents and other family. No words can adequately express our sentiments. We will always continue to pray for strength and peace for her family. We love you Krysten.
