June 10, 1983 – May 14, 2025
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter Krystie Anne McNeel. She passed away unexpectedly on May 14th, 2025 at the home of her parents in Kanab, Utah. She was born June 10th, 1983 in Price, Utah. She grew up in Emery county and graduated from Emery High School.
Krystie worked as a telemarketer for Feature Films for Families for a short time. That is where she met and eventually married Robert McNeel on September 13, 2003 (later divorced). They had three children together.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved participating in the Young Women Program when she was younger. She loved the Lord and it was seen in her actions and dealings with everyone she met.
Krystie was always so happy and she loved everyone. She had such a kind heart and everyone who met her knew that. She will be remembered by her radiant smile. Beginning at a young age she loved to tell stories to all that would listen.
She enjoyed camping with the family and being around her immediate family as well as all her Cousins, Uncles, Aunts and Grand Parents. She loved reading books, drawing pictures and listening to music.
Krystie will be deeply missed! She will be forever in our hearts until the joyous time when we see her again.
Krystie is survived by her son Toby McNeel (17), daughter Vanessa McNeel (21) and daughter Ruby McNeel (20). Mother Carolyn Atwood and Stepfather Clark Atwood. Siblings: Justin Olson, Jason Olson, Rick (Stephanie) Atwood and Melissa Atwood. Several Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents David and Joanne Van Wagoner and her Aunt Linda Walsh.
A viewing will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mosdell Mortuary in Kanab, Utah. Interment will be at a later date in the Cleveland City Cemetery close to her Grandparents.
