Kurt Briggs Obituary
Following his high school graduation, Kurt began a lifelong career with Noland and Sons Construction, where he worked with dedication and pride for over four decades. During that time, he created many lasting friendships that he valued deeply.
Kurt found his greatest joy in nature. He loved camping at Strawberry Reservoir, spending countless hours in his boat fishing, and duck hunting, which was his greatest passion. Kurt was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help teach others, generously sharing his skills and wisdom with those around him. He passed on his love of nature to his children, creating countless cherished memories in the outdoors together. His pride and joy were his kids and grandkids, who he adored and celebrated throughout his life.
Kurt shared a strong bond with his brothers and parents, cherishing their love and support throughout his life.
He is survived by his children Kolbie (John) Meyer, Mickenzie Briggs, and Tyson (Ashley) Briggs; granddaughter Preslee Meyer; parents Duane and Rita Briggs; and brothers Brad (Jolynn) Briggs, Mark (Carol) Briggs, and Guy (Wendy) Briggs.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Treyton Meyer.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah. A second viewing will be held prior to services on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 2:00 to 2:45 PM.
Funeral services will follow on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Kurt's memory by spending time outdoors, enjoying nature, or casting a line in remembrance of the good times Kurt cherished.

Kurt was a great friend, lots of great memories, dunes, waterskiing, shooting pheasants on the canal bank out of the truck lol, working at Noland and son and just hanging out, you will be missed brother
