Friends and family today, mourn the loss of Kurt Clark, 45, of Rio Rancho, NM. He passed peacefully away at home on hospice at 11:30pm, 2/24/2025 with his beloved wife, Gina, at his side.

Kurt was born September 16, 1979 to Michael and Sherley (Powell) Clark. He grew up in New Providence and Eldora, IA where he graduated from high school. His stepfather, Don Beach, helped raise himand made him the man he was, teaching him farm and labor skills. He had a great love for his mother, Shirley, and missed her dearly.

Kurt was a laborer and skilled in brickwork. He worked for Precision Masonry. He truly loved his job at Hyatt Regency, where he worked for 13 years. He was loved by everyone from Directors, to the housekeepers, whom he talked with through his phone translator. Kurt was never late for work, had a strong work ethic, and was a generous soul who would give the shirt off his back to help others.

On November 8, 2004, Kurt met Gina Lindsay while out with his cousin, Dave, at the Chromehorse. He was intrigued by this woman, who played a song by Clutch on the jukebox. They were instantly inseparable, and she would become his wife on 9/16/2006. He was her "ride or die" until his final breath.

Kurt was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed helping New Mexico drivers in bad weather that slipped into ditches. He loved the mountains, nature, fishing, his guns, his trucks, and off road vehicles. He loved to chop firewood-he could cut it like butter. And he loved to build fires. Gina was sure to have a fire roaring for him, as he passed from this life to the next.

Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, and two sisters, Michelle and Tina. Kurt is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Gina Marie Clark; best friend, Seth Marling; best cousin, Shane Powell; sister Tracy Seal; a brother, Michael Clark; and friends too numerous to count.
