Of Waukesha. Passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the age of 51 years. Much loved brother and "Tater Tot" to Kellie Stieglitz. Dear nephew of Jan (the late Syd) Herman and the late Judi (Bruce) Lusk. Kurt is also loved and will be missed by other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Dorothy Krummel, maternal grandparents Henry and Elsie Havlinek and paternal grandparents Matt and Snobie Krummel; aunts and uncles: Gordon (the late Ellie) Havlinek, Kenneth Havlinek, Marge (the late Rollie) Dvorak, Elaine (the late Dick) Seefeldt, Gertie (the late Bill) Blaha and Shirley (the late Don) Williquette, cousins Anne Haines, Debbie (the late Jeff) Wilcox, and second cousin Ryan Schueller.
Kurt was a 1991 graduate of Waukesha North High School. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes upnorth at the family cottage at Lake Camelot in Nekoosa. Kurt loved classic cars and animals, including his family black labs, especially Max.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, from 10:00 AM, until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Road, (Hwy J & JJ), Waukesha. Following services at the funeral home, a pizza buffet luncheon will be at Pizza Ranch, 930 Fleetfoot Dr., Waukesha.
