Scott Eveland Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home & Crematory - Antigo on Jan. 8, 2026.
Scott Eveland, age 65, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at his home on Post Lake. He was born on July 16, 1960 in Milwaukee, a son of James and Charlene (Mancl) Eveland.
Scott was a graduate of Waukesha North High School. He married Joan Sill on November 3, 1979.
For nearly 47 years, Scott was employed at Paper Machinery Corporation in Milwaukee, where he was planning to retire at the end of 2026. Beginning his career as a watchman, he rose to Vice President of International Sales, traveling the world and achieving remarkable professional success through dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic. His stories of overseas clients and global travel could have filled a book-one that surely would have brought laughter to all who read it and would have made a perfect retirement project.
Scott and his wife Joan loved to travel, especially to National Parks attempting to collect stamps for all. They spent many summers taking grandchildren on vacations that focused on the outdoors. They also enjoyed attending concerts together over the years.
He had a lifelong love for flying and aviation. He worked very hard and even held two jobs to achieve his dream of becoming a pilot and owning his own plane, which took many flights throughout Wisconsin. He shared the love of flight with his friend Don. Scott hasn't missed a year at EAA in over 20 years.
Scott also loved motorsports, following NASCAR, Formula 1, and the Indianapolis 500. He recently took the oldest granddaughter to Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin which was a pure joy for him to spend with her and celebrate her high school graduation.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Survivors include his wife Joan Eveland of Waukesha; mother, Charlene Eveland of Post Lake; two daughters, Jessica (Tony) DeBiase of Gilbert, AZ, and Kimberly Eveland of Waukesha; three grandchildren, Makayla, Kensington and Keegan DeBiase; his aunt, Kay Stetzenbach of Mauston; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. All who he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Eveland; two brothers, Steven Eveland and James "Jim" Eveland; his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Donna Sill; his uncle, Ed Stetzenbach; and uncles and aunts, Ron and Bernie Eveland, and Sonny and Ginger Eveland.
He made life purposeful and found the best purpose in others. His noble goal was just that, it explains everything he did in all circles. He tried to get the most out of life and leave a legacy for his children and grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 12 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will take place in the spring at the Elcho Cemetery.

The Seda International Packaging Group family joins in mourning the sudden and untimely passing of Scott. On behalf of myself and all my colleagues, I extend my deepest sympathies to the family, remembering a loyal, helpful, and sincere person, with whom it was beyond a pleasure to share the successes and hard work of our 25-year collaboration. After the passing of Luca Dellomodarme, Scott is another person whose memory we will never forget. R.I.P. Scott!
