Mr. Soter was born on September 23, 1964, in the Bronx, New York, to Eileen Schoemann and Richard Soter.
Kurt was a fantastic person with a huge heart, always willing to give all he had to make someone else happy. His plumbing skills were remarkable, and he was an amazing teacher, father, brother, and husband.
In recent years, he has used his plumbing skills to improve the plumbing systems of New York City's public schools.
Kurt passed away on March 22, 2025, at home in Middletown, NY. He is survived by his Children, Shania, Natifa, Shamar, Joshua, Rebeckah, and his wife, Alicia Soter. His siblings, David Astrin and Susanne, also mourn the loss of their beloved brother.
Visitation and Services will be held at Applebee McPhillips Funeral Home in Middletown, NY, on Wednesday, March 26th,
from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by cremation.
