Kyle Shane Brock, 55, of San Angelo passed from this life on February 5,2025. Services will be held at a later date.
Kyle was born in Levelland to Jerry and Gail Kennedy Brock on December 11,1969. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1988. Kyle worked for the Hockley County Soil Conservation before moving to Clovis, New Mexico where he trained horses for Bobby Lewis and Carol Rose. He moved to San Angelo in 1996 and went to work for Housley Communications. In 2000 Kyle started his boot making career at JL Mercer Boot Company and continued there until his passing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gail Brock; paternal grandparents, Hub and Ruby Brock and maternal grandparents, Riley and Edmae Kennedy.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his father, Jerry Brock; siblings, Kristy Porterfield and husband, Don, Kirk Brock and wife, Beverly and Kelli Martin and husband, Kurt all of Levelland; son, Kane Brock; grandchildren, Knox and Kimber Brock; nephews, Kody Porterfield and wife, Cheyenne, Kolt Brock, Kwail Brock and Klay Brock; nieces, Karleigh Porterfield, Kassi Keeling and husband, Jake and Kylee Polvado and husband, Grayson; great nieces, Brittan Brock, Klaire Porterfield, Reese Polvado, Sunny Polvado, Taylor Keeling and Kamryn Brock along with a host of friends that will miss him dearly.
The family respectfully and kindly request no flowers and suggests donations be made to the South Plains College Rodeo Team at 1900 College Ave. Levelland, Texas 79336 or Hospice of San Angelo.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Cornell, Dr. VanDeGraff and the staff of Shannon Hospital and Shanno Chemo along with the staff of Hospice of San Angelo.
