Kyle Aaron Cannon, 48, of La Marque, Texas passed away on January 24, 2025 in La Marque, Texas. He was born on July 13, 1976 to John and Patricia Cannon in Webster.
From the time he was a baby he was a great swimmer. Prior to church and many events, he never failed to jump in the pool and tread water beyond reach of his fully dressed family. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His itchy trigger finger led him to "allegedly" peppering many fellow hunters and on a separate occasion "allegedly" shot a cow. But you can't mention Kyle without baseball. He was an all-star left handed pitcher who played from tee-ball to college. He was a showman no matter where he went. He was a crazy, wild, lovable entertainer who would light up a room by telling stories, singing songs, and quoting movie lines. With his contagious laugh and charisma, Kyle never met a stranger. He made friends with anyone that would talk to him and anyone who sat around long enough for him to finish talking. He was very passionate about his looks and presence. He made sure to keep a fresh haircut, a stick of gum, spotless truck, clean shaven face, and he went to extremes like bleaching and ironing his laces for a shining pair of K-Swiss. All Kyle wanted to do was be a dad and in 2003 his best friend was born. After that Kyle spent his days with his son Caden teaching him all the things he loved to do. He took Caden on plenty of adventures. Kyle and his little sidekick loved to go to the movies, McDonald's, Putt Putt Fun House, and just be around each other. If there's one thing that Kyle enjoyed, it was family.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Kyle is survived by his son Caden Cannon; sister Cindy Freeman (Buddy), brother Danny Cannon (Corie), sister Nicole Gomez (Robert), nieces and nephews; Casey Freeman, Randi Salinas, Erin Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, Cole Cannon, Dallis Cannon, and Chase Cannon.
A memorial visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 pm. Service will begin at 10:30am with Pastor Cliff Sanders officiating.
