Obituary of Kyle Cammeron Guffey
Kyle Cammeron Guffey, 33, of Mannford, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Mannford, Oklahoma. Born on September 25, 1991, in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma, Kyle was the beloved son of Richard Guffey and Sheila (Bennett) Lawson. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Computer Science from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Kyle was a beacon of music and joy to all who knew him. A talented musician, he passionately played the guitar, drums, and saxophone. His love for music was equally matched by his enthusiasm for video games and his deep appreciation for the company of friends and family.
Kyle's laughter, warmth, and generous spirit defined his character. He had a rare gift for connecting with people, making them feel valued and heard. Whether through a jam session, a gaming marathon, or simply spending quality time, Kyle's presence brought comfort and happiness.
Although he never married, Kyle's life was filled with love and companionship. He leaves behind a legacy of musical talent, cherished memories, and a lasting example of living life with passion and joy. His absence will be profoundly felt, but the moments he shared will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Bennett, Shirley Bennett, and Marvin Guffey. He is survived by his parents, Richard Guffey, Richard Lawson, and Sheila Lawson; grandmother, Barbara Guffey; brothers, Kanyen, Waylon, Trevor, Travis, and Trent; their spouses, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
May his spirit find peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and uplift us all.
