Kyle F. Hasselman, a beacon of kindness and generosity, left this world far too soon on July 23, 2025, at the very hospital where his story began, Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Born on April 2, 1999, Kyle's life was a testament to the power of passion and the strength of the human spirit. He was a cherished son to Charles Hasselman and Carol Janer, a loving brother to Daniel, Stefanie (Joseph), and Vicki (Joshua), and an adored uncle to Rylann, Russell, and Dylan. His grandmother Henrietta Hasselman, alongside a host of aunts and uncles-Frank and Sharon Janer; Elizabeth Hagerty; Ruthann and Nicholas Touni; Paul and Kathleen Hasselman; Pamela Stucke and Karl and Kelly Merle plus countless cousins, also held a special place in his heart.

Kyle's academic journey was marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern New Hampshire University, an Associate's Degree from Rowan College of South Jersey, and a proud graduation from Kingsway Regional High School. His passion for literature and learning propelled him toward his dream job as a Library Assistant at the Gloucester County Library System, where he was surrounded by the stories and knowledge he so deeply adored.

In life, Kyle's interests were as vast as his heart. He was a collector of countless books, an avid gamer, and a movie aficionado. His hands meticulously pieced together intricate Lego creations, and his mind recently found joy in the strategic depths of Scrabble. Live shows, stand-up comedy, and the thrill of meeting the 13th Doctor Who were moments that sparkled in his memory. From childhood toys to steam engine trips, Kyle's lifelong love affair with trains was a thread that ran through the tapestry of his life.

Kyle's legacy extends beyond the bounds of his interests and achievements. As a registered organ donor, he became a hero in his final act, giving the gift of life to four individuals. His decision exemplified the selfless nature that defined him. He was a man who lived his Christian faith not just in words but in deeds, embodying the gentle spirit of service and compassion.

To speak of Kyle is to speak of kindness, to remember a soul that radiated warmth and generosity. His gentle nature was a comfort to all who knew him, and his legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of giving. Kyle's story is not one of tragedy but of inspiration-a call to embrace our passions, to cherish our loved ones, and to live a life that brings joy to ourselves and others.

As we bid farewell to Kyle F. Hasselman, let us not dwell on the loss but celebrate the extraordinary life he led. Let us carry forward the lessons he taught through his actions: to love fiercely, to give generously, and to approach each day as an opportunity to make a difference. Kyle's journey on this earth may have been brief, but the impact of his spirit will resonate for generations to come.

A dear friend, gone way too soon. Good bye for now, my friend.

Kyle was a good friend of mine growing up. He would come over my house and hang out in elementary school and middle school. We talked almost everyday in high school and even though I would get on his nerves sometimes we were still buddies at the end of the day. It upsets me greatly to know that he has passed on. I will cherish the memories I had with Kyle. May he be in peace and I wish the best for his family.

It breaks my heart that you have left us. You were a kind, thoughtful and generous young man. I've only been an Aunt once in my life and that was when I became one to you when I married your Uncle Frank. It was so special that you were Uncle Frank's Best Man at the age of only 9. I have now lost that title, but I will regain it when we meet again someday. Until then, Kyle, keep watch over us as our guardian angel. Your memory will live on forever. Love, Aunt Sharon

I didn't know Kyle, but from talking to his Aunt Sharon, I got the impression that he was a good person, with a big heart. Sharon let me know that Kyle was the best man for Uncle Frank at their wedding. It is obvious that the hero that was Kyle will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences goes out to his Mother Carol, his father Chuck, and the entire family. May the Lord cover the family....
