Kyle Keen

Kyle Keen, also called Pete by many of his family and friends, 90 of Woodbridge, VA, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Kyle was the 12th child of 14 children of Willie and Louisa Keen of Davenport, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: Arvil, Ira, Luther, Trigg, Kenneth and David, seven sisters: Oakley Lockhart, Ollie Perkins, Ella Sabol, Edna Owens, Sharlene Presley, Marie Eck, Geneva Presley; and his loving wife of 64 years Helen "Peggy" Keen.
He is survived by daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Petitt, son Steve (Lynn) Keen; 3 grandchildren, Kevin (Janie) Petitt, Kelley (Nick) Harris and Kari (Mike) Pinasco; 4 great-grandchildren, Rachel and Zac Pinasco, Harlen and Gracie Harris and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Spending time with family and friends brought him great pleasure. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Kyle was a dedicated employee of Hylton Enterprises working in construction from the late 1950's until his retirement. He was a US Army Veteran and lifetime member (61 years) of Occoquan Masonic Lodge #310. He was also a dedicated member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
A visitation gathering will take place on Saturday December 20, 2025 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 14806 Blackburn Road Woodbridge VA 22191. A funeral service with Rev. Gayle Porias officiating, will take place directly following visitation. A reception to celebrate his life will follow the service. Please join us for food and fellowship in the upstairs Fellowship Hall. Interment will be at Quantico National Cemetery on December 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m..
