Kyle Joseph Marx, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 at his home.
Kyle was born on December 14, 1986 in Appleton, WI to Greg & Lori Marx. He graduated from Appleton East High School, Class of 2005. He was an avid soccer player and played from age 6 -17.
Kyle’s greatest joy was the birth of his son, Ezekiel (Zeke) Marx. Kyle cherished his time as a father and enjoyed watching Zeke grow.
Kyle had many interests including music and spent many hours with his DJ equipment. He also loved animals including his cats, Lit’l Guy, Chuckie and Opie as well as many types of turtles over the years. Kyle always loved fishing with friends and disk golf at the local courses.
Other interests included the Green Bay Packers and he loved to attend the Monday night Packers show. Kyle recently attended a Packers home game with his Dad and his favorite Uncle, Joe. Kyle was a collector of many things including Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon’ cards, videos and other memorabilia. He enjoyed collecting and rebuilding bicycles. Kyle was like Dr. Frankenstein with bikes. He would take good parts from many bikes and create Frankenbikes. Kyle spent a great deal of time at the cottage of his aunt Rosanne and uncle Bruce in Embarrass. He cherished all the fond memories from his days on the river with family and friends.
Kyle worked for Newberry Mobil for approximately 10 years and touched many lives. Kyle was always ready with a smile and a great sense of humor. His ability to accept people for who they are created instant friendships with most everyone he met.
Kyle will be deeply missed by his partner Mercedez (Sadie) Mann, their son, Ezekiel, parents Greg & Lori Marx, sister, Kelsey (Chris) Froehlich, nieces: Emerson, Phoebe & Ivy Froehlich, Sadie’s parents James & Dianne Lewis. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kyle was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 17th at the Whiting Boat House in Neenah, between the hours of 3pm and 7pm. Friends and family are invited to come and share their memories of Kyle.
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established to assist Sadie and Zeke with expenses.
