Wichmann Funeral Home - Downtown AppletonSharon "Sharie" Jirschele-Emanuel, 67, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1957, to her parents Richard and Norma Jirschele in Appleton, Wisconsin.
She was raised in Appleton and graduated from Appleton East High School. She met the love of her life David at Cleos one night. They dated for 5 years before they got married. Together they had 3 children.
Sharie had the biggest heart. She was sentimental, nostalgic, and romantic. She loved family history and repurposing family heirlooms. Her Christmas cards were legendary, always handcrafted with love. She adored any and all family activities, early morning pajama walks with the grand kids, going to the cottage, trips to the park, gatherings. Her favorite place to be was at the lake in Eagle River where she could see and feed the hummingbirds. She was the creator of magic for kids at the cottage, whether it was treasure and toadstools or finding fairies in the woods.
She was a fierce supporter of all her kids and grandkids sporting events as well as a diehard Brewer, Badger, and Packer fan. One of her greatest traits was her infectious smile and her ability to make you an immediate friend. She would always help family, friends and neighbors in need.
Sharie is survived by her husband David, parents, children: Erin (Andrew) Baalrud, Nathan (Melissa) Emanuel, Ben (Brianna) Emanuel; grandchildren: Evie, Charley, Aiden, Asher, Brooks, and Brynlee; Jeff (Mary) Jirschele, Barb (Paul) McCann, Brian (Tracy) Jirschele, and Tina (Tim) Greinert; David’s siblings: Barb Meiklejon, Mary Jo Byrd, Susan Emanuel; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her in-laws Richard and Betty Emanuel.
There will be celebration on Saturday September 13, 2025, at Pullmans Trolly Square from 1:30 to 3:30.
