Kyle Adam Steelman, 37, of Cartersville, passed away, on Friday, April 28, 2023.
Born on December 21, 1985, in Merced, California, he the son of Darren Thomas and Rebecca New. He is preceded in death by his stepdad Larry Womack; cousin William Lerch; mentor Duard "Buck" Hames; and best friend Duard "Little Buck" Hames.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Heather Steelman; his fiancé Jessica Bonner; his children Angel Steelman, Tristan Steelman, Natalie Steelman, Sadie Steelman, Averie Steelman, Jayden Johnson, Hayden Johnson, and Aubrey Steelman; brothers Kolten Karle, Tyler Thomas, Chase Thomas, Tanner Thomas, and Soloman Sosebee; sisters Samantha Steelman and Heather Foulger; several aunts and uncles; and all those who called him "KyKy".
Kyle had a huge heart and loved people. He left an imprint on everyone who met him. He never knew a stranger and even those he never knew; he made it a point to soon call them a friend. One time he even sat on a curb with a homeless gentleman just talking to him because he knew everyone had a story and he never judged anyone because of that knowledge.
Kyle was a man of God and attended Racoon Creek Baptist Church. He was the best dad, husband, brother, friend, uncle, or cousin that you could ever ask for. He was the best person to have in your life. He made sure that everyone he met knew from that day on he was their brother who they could never lose. He also had a knack for making people forgive him, you just couldn't stay mad at him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with pastor Wesley Morris officiating.
