Funeral Service for L. Carl Davis, 84, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on March 26, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dollie Marie (Borin) Davis and Norman Hobert Davis and passed away on September 15, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Brenda Kaye (Wiley) Davis on June 9, 1961 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2021. He was a member of the United States Army Reserves, the owner and operator of Carl Davis Auto Repair and a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Survivors are daughter, Devria Moore and Dave of Maryville, TN; son, Wendell Davis of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, Amanda Daniel and Noah of Maryville, TN, Kyle Moore of Maryville, TN, and Rebecca and Derek Senatore of Seymour, TN, Emily Davis of Sallisaw, OK, Jacob Davis of Fayetteville, AR, and Anna Davis of Victoria, TX; nine great-grandchildren, Lele, Gabby, Emmaline, Braxton, Holliana, Aiden, Alice, Ella and Langston; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda; and three brothers, Paul Davis, Gilbert Davis, and Norman Davis.
Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 3 - 5 PM.
