Lacy Leigh Everett, 61 of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on December 11, 2023, in Fort Stockton, Texas at her home surrounded by her family singing praises to the Lord.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Tx, with John McIntyre, brother in Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery in Fort Davis, Texas. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Fort Stockton, Texas. Lacy was born in Fort Stockton, Texas to Bud & Pauline Everett on November 24, 1962. She attended school in Fort Stockton and earned her GED in 1982. She was a hairdresser in Sheffield and Fort Stockton working primarily at Casa de Modas most of her career. She had a natural talent and intuitive artistry when doing hair for her customers. Lacy became a Christian on April 11, 2020 by being baptized at her home in a water trough. Lacy was preceded in death by her parents, Bud & Pauline Everett, her older brother Raymond Don Everett, and her brother-in-law Harry Collins. She is survived by her sisters, Cathy Collins, Pat Kring, and Janie Everett; her brothers Dub Everett & Bill Everett. Lacy is also survived by her sister-in-laws, who were like sisters: Doris Everett, Dean Everett, Teresa Everett. She is also survived by her nephew Zachary Everett (Leslie) who she helped to raise; her great nephews Spencer Everett, Steven Everett, and Matthew Everett & her great niece Delayna Everett, who all called her ‘Lala’. She is survived by nephews Luke Collins, Cody Everett, Jake Everett (Farniza), Josh Everett, Brad Kring (Jodi), & Cooper Kring, and her nieces, Samantha Burton (Kenneth), Cary Acosta (Adan), Synthia Grigry (Ben), Audrey Black (Alan), Stephanie Everett, Susie Everett, Mandy Jo Armstrong. Lacy is also survived by her cousins and ‘soul sisters’: Lesa Tavarez, Leslie Elliott, Cheryl Haynes Stidham, Ginger Poindexter, Paula Morris, Shelley Hamilton, Ronda Robinson, Rachel Striegler. Lacy is also survived by numerous great nieces & great nephews, and so many relatives and friends that could not be listed on paper that were part of her family.
Pallbearers will be Luke Collins, Cody Everett, Jake Everett, Josh Everett, Zachary Everett, Brad Kring, Cooper Kring, Spencer Everett, Steven Everett, and Matthew Everett.
Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Lacy’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice nurses, especially Denise Childs and Andrew Franco.
